Pearl Mansions
For families

Built for grandparents, kids, and everyone in between.

Both Pearl houses are designed for groups of ten to twenty, which in practice means: multi-generational families. Kids' pools, kid menus, baby cots, and enough room that nobody has to share.

The pool

A pool for swimmers, and a separate pool for the kids.

Each property has a main pool and a kids' pool running alongside. Pearl Lakeview's main pool is a heated infinity pool that runs year-round. Pearl Hillview's pool is unheated, comfortable for most of the year. Both kids' pools are at a depth that lets a five-year-old stand. The decks are wide enough for parents to lay out without anybody being on top of anybody.

We do not allow glass at the pool edge, and please don't carry food in. Beyond that — it's yours.

For the youngest guests

What we set up when small children are coming.

01.

Baby cots & high chairs.

Cots and high chairs available on request. Mention the age range when you book and we will set up the right number, in the right rooms.

02.

Kid menus.

The cook runs a parallel kid menu — pasta, pancakes, parathas, dal-chawal, simple fried rice. Mild spice. We can do gluten-free or dairy-free if you tell us in advance.

03.

Play areas.

A small play structure on the lawn at Lakeview; an open lawn at Hillview. The games room at both properties has space for kids to take over without parental supervision.

04.

Home theatre for cartoons.

The home theatre at both properties is connected to Netflix and YouTube. The kids book it for mornings, the adults negotiate for it after dinner.

05.

First-aid & doctor.

Basic first-aid on site at both houses. A local doctor we have used before is reachable within twenty minutes for non-emergency consultations.

06.

Quiet hours.

If you mention bedtimes, the staff bring the volume down and stage the kitchen so the kids can be in bed by their usual time. Adults can carry on quietly.

Outside the gate

Things to do with kids nearby.

At Lakeview, Igatpuri: A short walk to Vaitarna Lake from the property gate. Multiple viewpoints and easy hikes are within an hour's drive. In the monsoon, the waterfalls along the highway are the right size for a half-day trip.

At Hillview, Lonavala: Bushy Dam is thirty minutes away — the older kids love it, especially in monsoon. Lion's Point and Tiger Point, twenty minutes for the sunset. The Karla and Bhaja caves give a half-day of climbing for school-age kids. Plenty of waterfalls to be seen right from your balcony in the monsoons!

"Three generations, eleven people, including a two-year-old and an eighty-year-old. The cook handled the menu for all three. The kids' pool kept the small ones occupied for full afternoons. This is the trip we'll be repeating."
