A long table.
The dining table at both houses doubles as a working table; we can also set up a dedicated boardroom configuration if the team needs the dining area separately.
Both Pearl houses are sized for teams of 12 to 20. Working areas, real Wi-Fi, projector setups, GST-invoiced. We have hosted strategy sessions, leadership offsites, planning weekends, and the occasional product launch.
A typical offsite is two or three working days bracketed by travel. The point is the conversation in the room, not the slides on the wall. Our houses are set up for the conversation.
Both have living rooms that convert into working spaces — long table, projector and screen, fast Wi-Fi, plug points for the laptops. There is also a separate quiet corner for one-on-ones, the home theatre for screening reviews, and breakout space outside for the unstructured sessions.
The cook handles a multi-cuisine working lunch every day. Evening tea is set up where the group is, not where the kitchen is. Dinner is whatever the group has decided that morning.
After the working day ends, the pool is open, the games room is open, the bonfire is lit on request. Most teams stay up — the agenda for the next morning gets written somewhere between the pool and the gazebo.

Full HD projector with HDMI, AirPlay, and Chromecast. Pull-down screen at Hillview; large screen at the theatre room at Lakeview can also be used for presentations.
100 Mbps fibre at both properties with backup connectivity. We've hosted full-day Zoom calls without an issue.
A portable whiteboard, markers, post-its, a flip-chart can be arranged on request. Tell us a week before.
The gazebo at Hillview, the deck at Lakeview, and the garden at both properties give you somewhere to peel off for a one-on-one without leaving the property.
If the team is arriving in multiple cars from multiple cities, we coordinate arrivals and dispatch on the way back.
07:30 · Coffee and tea set up wherever the early risers gravitate. The cook starts a hot breakfast at eight.
09:00 · Breakfast spread — multi-cuisine, hot, replenished as the team filters in. The room is reset for the working session by 10.
10:00 · Session 1. Projector running, Wi-Fi tested, fresh water and biscuits replenished without anyone having to ask.
13:00 · Working lunch, three mains plus a salad, dessert, fresh juice or lassi. Set up in the dining or the gazebo, depending on preference.
14:30 · Session 2. We dim the room if you're doing review and pull the curtains; we open everything up if you're doing strategy.
16:30 · Evening tea — pakoras, sandwiches, fresh coffee. Set up where the team is.
19:00 · Pool, games room, gazebo — the unstructured time. We light the bonfire if you'd like.
20:30 · Dinner. BBQ on the last night is the standard request; we'd plan for it on day one.
22:00–00:00 · The agenda for tomorrow gets written somewhere between the pool and the rooftop. The kitchen stays open for chai and post-dinner snacks until midnight.
"We've done two leadership offsites at Pearl Hillview now. The combination of the portable projector setup by the pool, the working room and the gazebo at the end of the day is rare. Service was exceptional"
